at Your Appointment

What to Expect

When visiting our Covent Garden clinic you will be greeted by one of our lovely therapists who will go through detailed medical case history, then move onto examinations that may involve you doing some active movements for them to see. Your therapist will create a treatment plan for you and may also be given exercises, stretches or lifestyle changes to do at home. This program will have photos, videos and explanations of each exercise so that you can always refer back to it if needed. Our team is always on hand to contact via email if you need any assistance.

What to Wear

As with any healthcare appointment, it may be necessary for you to dress down so the therapist can assess your body movement. We suggest wearing clothing, such as shorts and a t-shirt, that will enable us to work effectively. You may wish to seek treatment from a Therapist of the same gender as yourself.

Your treatment

Your therapist will make a working diagnosis and discuss a tailored treatment plan for you. Our team can offer a wide range of techniques that may involve: Osteopathy, Medical Acupuncture, Soft/Deep tissue massage and exercise rehabilitation. After having your personalised treatment you will receive an at-home exercise and advice programme to follow. This will help you manage your pain and wellness between appointments.

Can the treatment be uncomfortable?

Your therapist will inform you if they think that the specific technique that they would like to use may be uncomfortable and give you the choice of an alternative option and work with you in terms of intensity. Following treatment you may experience some mild soreness in the area of your body that was treated, this can last up to 72 hours.
